Sam is a Water Resources Engineer dedicated to advancing riverine ecosystem health through comprehensive field assessment, site characterization, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, fisheries science, and sustainable design practices. His background in ecohydraulics, with a focus on improving longitudinal connectivity for native species, combined with extensive whitewater kayaking experience, enables him to translate hydraulic conditions and fish‑passage criteria into effective, constructible solutions. Sam strives to develop designs that integrate hydraulic performance with ecological function to support resilient and sustainable river systems.
